>Incident 01: Running Errands

Goshikida Isao: Notes to self

Took a day-trip to Kikaitopia today. Though I must admit, it was more to check in on Stacey than what I told him it was about! He's coming into his own well, I think, now that both his... father... and the tyrant Boccowaus have been vanquished! He did seem rather surprised when I asked if there were any groceries he needed from the Zenkaiger's world - perhaps I should have asked him about something else?
Ah well; in the end, he did seem happy to see me, so perhaps I shouldn't overthink it.

>Incident 02: A 'Misplaced' Letter

Goshikida Mitsuko: Journal Entry 2389, Section 1

I wasn't expecting to give Setchan a lecture today! He had disturbed some papers my husband had written (our boy Kaito started us on it - he'd written so many letters in our absence, and said they had helped keep him afloat while waiting to see us home...), and he'd seen fit to deliver one straight to poor Stacey, when it had been about him!
I'm not sure how Setchan managed not to get caught, but we did give him the capacity to be stealthy when necessary. I was quite pointed in explaining how those letters were meant to be private!
For now, I expect overreacting on our part may make this worse for Stacey, but at the very least Setchan is going to be writing his own apology letter!

>Incident 03: Volunteering

[Scribbled on spare note paper:]
Spent the day pitching in freeing up space for a memorial park. Found out the Zenkaigers were in the neighborhood from traveling. They looked happy to see me.
All of us transformed in order to use our abilities to the full to help out. The Kikainoids weren't as surprised by the number of Sentai in one place as I expected, but I suppose we've given them practice.
Had a bonfire after. It was... nice nice.
Someone took pictures. I really should start a scrapbook, of all the progress we've made.

>Incident 04: Outfits

The Journal of Goshikida Kaito

(Volume 3)
So I realized the other day, that I'd never seen Stacey in all that many outfits (does Sentai gear count?)
And between bringing him clothes after our latest world visit, or just asking him if there's something he'd like to try, the latter seemed easier!
(Though the last world we were on didn't exactly have a lot of fabric variety, anyway - long story, I'll get back to that one later.)
So we made another day-trip to Kikaitopia (it really is looking lots better!), and I asked him outright. It probably says a lot about how much has happened since we first crossed one another that he didn't really hesitate or anything before he responded.

But, the answer was mostly that he didn't know! So we went on a clothing tour of Kikaitopia! Which lasted for about ten minutes, because it resulted in a pile of clothes and Stacey looked kind of overwhelmed.
So we made sorting through it a sort of game instead, where anything that was a clear 'no' to him got left in a bin to be taken back.
I never realized picking out clothes could take so long! But in the end, Stacey looked really pleased with what he settled on, and there were even clothes in there that fit the rest of us, so it all worked out!
See ya next time!
~Kaito

>Incident 05: Invitation

[Untitled, written on a fresh page in a lined notebook:]
I couldn't put this off any more. People were asking where I was staying, and I never enjoyed staying in the Tozitend's castle to begin with.
So now I have a place of my own. It's small, but - cozy, I think is the word. And more than a little plain, but I think I'm supposed to change that.

I may need to ask for help.

[Additional entry, two days later:]
Yatsude-san has a lot of experience in this area, I did not realize. I know she was happy when I asked her for help, but it's a lot more comfortable in here now. Not just the furnishings - there's space for things I've collected, and clothes. Even on the walls there are decorations, though she agreed this place didn't need too many of those.

It's - the place isn't overwhelming. But what I'm feeling is.

I'm going to rest, for now.

>Incident 06: What Is It, Secchan??

Tune... Performance Recap, Start!

What with everyone checking in on each other, I thought it only fair that I take a turn! ... Not that Stacey exactly appreciated it, at first, but I'm just going to blame that oddball Kami setting him up via Gege.

So I decided to try different measures! Specifically, a scavenger hunt. The Zenkaiger team were glad to participate when I sent them a letter, and my creators were willing to lend a hand with the planning, too. And, of course, Stacey got a letter as well (... and an apology, but that was before the letter.)

I'll cut the adventure-retelling part short, but I made sure not to send anyone anywhere meant to be dangerous. Not that it would have surprised them, necessarily, but it would have been rude!

Stacey solved his parts of the puzzle first - I waited just inside the door of Colorful, and this time he handled my appearance with more aplomb.

Then I asked if he'd like to help me surprise his friends, and he said yes! Yes, that's correct, he didn't even say they weren't his friends!

Now isn't that a treasure?

These entries are all so good! It’s nice to see everyone’s perspectives and what they’re getting up to post-canon. I especially liked hearing about what Kikaitopia is like now and I hope Stacey makes a nice scrapbook of the progress! And I like how Secchan gave Stacey one that was supposed to be private and then had to write an apology. Thanks for writing these for me!

(I also saw this gifted on AO3 just now, but saw it here first so commented here)
